Job Description: Kitchen Manager (Full Time)

 

Northern Restaurant Group is looking for a Restaurant Kitchen Manager/Chef who has a passion for food, leadership, personal development, and the hospitality industry. We are looking for an individual that understands management is more than managing standards and costs and equally about creating context and personality. We are looking for someone who can make quick decisions when necessary and excels at adapting as we continue to improve and redefine excellence. Our company is growing in stores and concepts and this position will be working with the CEO and Director of Operations and have the opportunity to provide insight and direction for the company. Applicant must enjoy working closely with people, have a passion for food and creating new and exciting dishes, be creative in problem-solving solution orientated.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create a vibrate and hospitable work environment

  • Spread your passion for food and hospitality through the store from staff to customers

  • Manage day to day objectives and standards

  • Set goals and direction for the store

  • Work with the General Manager to achieve Sales and Controllable cost goals

 

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Restaurant or Hospitality orientated experience or College or Food Service Degree

  • Ability to work nights and weekends

  • Optimism, Intelligence, Work Ethic, Empathy/Compassion, Self-Awareness, Integrity
